Your Customized Energy Road Map includes the following eight segments:
1. Existing Building Analysis
We will need to collect some information on your building concerning its location and the direction it faces. We will need a plan view sketch of your facility that notates the north direction. We will interview you to determine the process loads that exist in your plant.
2. Existing Energy Analysis
We will analyze the electric and gas utilities that are currently consumed in your facility. We will need 12 months of these bills to develop an energy profile telling us the base and peak loads of energy consumed. In addition, we will analyze your industry and the standard process loads to determine if base load of energy used matches the load purchased. We will interview you to determine the process loads that exist in your plant and to see if they can be supplemented with solar energy.
3. Solar Light Analysis
We will determine how much energy can be produced by a solar collector per month of the year based on the location of the equipment, the angle at which it is installed, and the direction it faces. We will use the plan view sketch of your facility that notates the north direction so that we can determine where on the building it makes the most sense to locate equipment based on the energy it can produce.
4. System Recommendations
Based on the information we have gathered and analyzed so far, we will make a system recommendation that will include the size of equipment, the potential location based on the information we have received from you, and a schematic diagram of the installation. 5. Investment Analysis
We will develop an investment analysis based on our equipment recommendations and labor rates available in your local area.
6. Existing vs. Proposed Cost of Operation
We will compare the current energy costs for your existing building with what they would be if you had installed the new solar energy project. This will show you the potential savings for the year of energy bills you have given us. We will also report the reduction in greenhouse gases that the new system will produce. The return on investment of the new system will be documented as well.
7. Financial Analysis
PSI Leasing can provide a complete financing package that will pay for the installation with the economic savings provided by the system itself. This package will also investigate government incentives and grants that may be available in your area of the country.
