Your Customized Energy Road Map includes the following eight segments:
1. Existing Building Analysis
After providing information about your home, including its location, the direction it faces and its list of appliances and equipment that need energy. We will also need a digital photograph of each side of your home that notates the direction it is facing. This information will help us produce your home’s energy profile.
2. Existing Energy Analysis
We will analyze the electric and gas utilities that are currently consumed in your home. We will need 12 months of these bills to develop an energy profile telling us the base and peak loads of energy consumed. We will use the information from the checklist of appliances to also help in determining your energy profile
3. Solar Light Analysis
We will determine how much energy can be produced by a solar collector per month of the year based on the location of the equipment, the angle at which it is installed, and the direction it is facing. We will use the digital photographs of your home to help identify the best location for equipment in your application and to estimate how much energy it will produce.
4. System Recommendations
Based on the information we have gathered and analyzed so far, we will make a system recommendation that will include the size of equipment, the potential location based on the information we have received from you, and a schematic diagram of the installation.
5. Investment Analysis
We will develop an investment analysis based on our equipment recommendations and labor rates available in your local area.
6. Existing vs. Proposed Cost of Operation
Based on your previous year’s energy bills, we will compare the current energy costs for your existing building with what we estimate it would be if you had installed the new solar energy project. This will show you the potential savings for the year of energy bills you have given us. We will also report the reduction in greenhouse gases that the new system will produce. The return on investment of the new system will be documented as well.
7. Financial Analysis
PSI Leasing can provide a complete financing package for the project. This package will pay for the installation with the economic savings provided by the system itself. This package will also investigate government incentives and grants that may be available in your area of the country.
8. Solar Solutions by PSI’s Continued Involvement.
Solar Solutions by PSI will provide a proposal for our continued involvement with your project. System detail design, innovative products, system startup and wireless metering are all areas of continued involvement that Solar Solutions by PSI offers to customers.
